Technical Visit
Technical visits to certain construction sites and some of the latest infrastructure accomplishments in Surabaya have been arranged for all delegates
to provide them with a unique opportunity to see how new technologies are applied to building motorways, roads, bridges, and waterway.
The technical visit programs which will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2009. Number of participants is limited.
Reservations will be made on a ´first come, first served´ basis. The technical visit is free of charge. Please fill in the corresponding section of the Registration Form.
Participants are required to reconfirm their reservations at the Technical Visit Counter onsite before Wednesday, November 18, 2009

Waru Station is a railway station which located in the Waru Sub&ndashDistrict, Sidoarjo District, East Java Province, and its operated by PT. Kereta Api (Persero) Operation Area VIII.
Waru Station is one of the entrance gate for the trains which coming from and heading to Surabaya City, beside Tandes Station (+2 meters above sea level), Wonokromo to the west passing through Sepanjang Station (+9m), and to the South through Waru Station itself (+5m). |

KALIMAS RIVER TRANSPORT

This monument is a real submarine named KRI Pasopati numbered 410.
It´s a SS type Whiskeys Class made of Vladiwostok, Russia 1952. KRI Pasopati entered TNI AL on January 29, 1962
with the main task to destroy the enemy´s crossing lines (anti-shipping), to perform reconnaissance and silent raids.

Kalimas is a traditional riverport. It is used by fishermans in Surabaya arround East Java Regions. It is also used as port to distribute and transport goods from ports arround East Java. |
