For those participants & presenters who have not register yet and want to accomplish the payment at the conference,
please make a Registration and reserve a hotel by uploading your individual statement or using this file below as a subsitute for your receipt.
However, for those who have not done the payment (for registration and hotel reservation) and not show up at
Surabaya Conference, we will charge them for the registration fee and cancelation fee of the hotel after the
conference.

Surabaya welcomes The 8th EASTS Conference 2009
Last Saturday, located at Shangri-la Hotel Surabaya, The Local Committees of The 8th EASTS Conference held a publication ceremony.
The Chair of Local Organizing Committees and General Secretary of MTI (Indonesia Transport Society) symbolically attach the publication sticker
to public transports. The public transports that will be attached with the stickers are intracity transportation (angkot), taxis, and buses.
This ceremony shows that Surabaya is welcoming the upcoming conference on November. There will be 502 papers presented at the conference with
423 presenters all over the world. The presenters come from Indonesia, Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippinnes,
Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mongolia, Srilanka, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Palestine, and United Kingdom.
The Conference which will be held on 16-19th of November have a special discussion session for Surabaya as host city. The special discussion session topic will be arround the motorcyle growth and its safety. Also at the upcoming event there will be a Transportation Exhibition beside the main Conference activities. There will be 90 booths prepared.
